Good News
The good news is that summer is more than half over. We are well on our way to winter which has become my favorite time of the year now that Nantucket is unlivable during the summer. This summer has been THE worst I have ever seen in my lifetime for crowds and especially rudeness. I am so looking forward to the dead of winter when it's 20 degrees out and blowing a gale. Nobody will be around then. I'm done complaining. I have learned to avoid the crowds and rudeness. I can lurk around the waterfront very very early in the morning. That is the only time to enjoy it. Time Flying By
Next week it will be the Fourth Of July. After that, summer will be more than half over much to my delight. Nantucket is unlivable from now until Labor Day. The crowds and rudeness is out of control. I'm looking forward to the middle of winter when we can have our island back. I still go down to the waterfront early every morning and see what's going on. Here are a few scenes from a few of my latest visits.
