Nice calm day today. I ventured out in my boat this afternoon to have a look around the waterfront. There's always something going on, even in the dead of winter.
Hardly a ripple-
The NB between the two church steeples-
The Coasties were out at the end of the east jetty repairing the fog horn and the green light-
I observed a lot of seals lounging on the rocks-
These little birds were on the deck of a sailboat moored in the mooring field-

Low Tide!!!
Extreme low tides lately. I was out poking around the waterfront late yesterday afternoon and took a few shots of the event.

Fishing Boats At Straight Wharf
At some point during the night, four western rigs came in and tied up to the east face of Straight Wharf. One scalloper and three draggers-
The Paul and Michelle is a big steel scalloper out of New Beige-
She tows two big dredges. I believe they are 14' wide-
No days off for her crew. They were busy doing gear work here-
