Remember the old days when we would have one tow on the board and one in the water before the 6:30 ferry left? Remember 15 to 21 baskets a tow? How fortunate we were to have seen the best of it.

Does anyone have a solution to this mystery? The Oct.Inky mirror quoted the scientists as having estimated 26-30,000 bushels of scallops in the harbor.Now,not even 10,000 bushels have been caught.Many fishermen are not getting their limits,so where are the other 16,000+ - bushels that were seen in October?
