Baby Cormorants/Arabella Anchored In Channel

I ventured out to the cormorant rookery at the end of the east jetty this afternoon in my boat to see if the eggs had hatched. It looks as though they hatched a couple of weeks ago as the chicks were quite large-

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but I took this picture today of the sailboat, Arabella. Is she not anchored directly in the middle of a navigable channel? (click to enlarge)

I believe it is where the Harbor Master has directed her to moor due to her size and large swing. There is no other spot for her. As for her interfering with traffic, not an issue. She's far enough out to be clear of the turning basin with plenty of room around her to pass by and she's well lit at night.

Now the Miss China, unlighted and in a channel, that's another story.....

The Arabella can always anchor off the jetties out of everyone's way. I'm just relaying what guys have told me that she's always in the way whenever she comes here. Thanks for the response, though. I guess we'll all just have to live with her always being in our way in a navigable channel.
Yes, the Miss China needs a mast light. She is also anchored/moored in a navigable channel unlit at night.

Shady for sure. Its the only boat that ever moors in that location. When the harbor gets socked in with fog it seems like that would be a terrible place to allow a boat of any size to moor. Why is it the one and only boat that moors right in the middle of the main navigable area of our harbor. Shady says it all if you ask me. Must be some grease involved !
