Storm Damage
I went out today and grabbed some shots of the storm damage to Sankaty Bluff. Also there was an Egg Harbor boat getting smashed apart at the old Shipyard this afternoon. Click on any picture to enlarge. Enjoy. Click On The Picture Below
B, from where I was taking the picture, it didn't look like the pipeline was being damaged. The old Egg Harbor boat was taking a tremendous beating, though. She was hung up on the steel bulkhead. Her starboard side was torn open. Not sure why she was in that area sandwiched between the pipeline and the Shipyard's property during this bad easterly. She would have been safer if she were run up on the beach until this blow passes. Now she's a total loss.
Don't want to go off topic here, but where you drew that 11 ft line...what is that in the first 4 feet of the 11 feet, to the left? Looks like the Tuckernuck Yoho curled up there. Then again, could be the Sconset Yoho.
Ok never mind....I'll go back to minding my own business....

Any damage to that yellow fuel line along GHYC, where that boat is smashing around? I believe that is airport property.
Great photos of the bluff. I hope they have plans for that house to be removed, but eleven feet from the edge may be too late...
