I know it has nothing to do with the Nantucket waterfront but I thought I would share a few pictures from one of my trail cameras. I set up the camera last week in an area that holds a good variety of deer. I now have 8 trail cams strategically placed around the island. It's a fascinating hobby observing and photographing deer with trail cameras. Click on any picture to enlarge.

I have an idea on how you can link the waterfront with your deer hobby- I was taking a walk along a beach on the harbor today at low tide and I noticed a bunch of deer hoof prints in the sand. You could set up a deer cam on the beach and catch deer on the waterfront! As a bonus, you might catch yourself scalloping!

That's actually a pretty good idea, Dan. I could never risk putting one of my cams on a beach where the public would be walking by it. The camera would last about 5 min before it would get stolen.
Hey, Martie i read all of your posts and i love your cam pics there great. I will be hunting nantucket this shotgun season hows the deer herd looking.
Thanks, anonymous. The deer herd is huge here. I have never seen so many in my life.

HI Martie,
Love your trail cam pictures. I have a Reconyx Hyperfire trail camera, only one, wish I had more. It takes great pictures. I am in the South Carolina mountain so I get alot of deer, coyote, ground hogs, wild turkey, raccoons, etc.
You've agot some really nice pictures. Check out my picture of the turkey, they were eating the worms on the driveway after the rain.
