Last Day Of Commercial Scallop Season
Today was the last day of the commercial bay scallop season. Around 10 guys (and one woman) went out for the last hurrah. This season will go down in my record books as one of the best.

The Nantucket Marine Dept.along with the Coalition for Economic Justice is sponsering 10 new apprentice scallop licenses for those newly beleagered and economically deprived currently not full US citizens,however they spend 11 months a year here.
