I went to have a look at the Old North Wharf project early this morning. I'd say it's around 99% complete. The guys from AGM Marine did a really nice job on it. Everything is straight and level and it feels rock solid underfoot. I just hope the next big E or SE storm doesn't wipe the whole thing out. We'll see. Here are a few pictures I took today. Notice the floating pier section.

This has nothing to about the wharf. What is happening with striped bass fishing?-develop a stream of info. DPG
The bass were very late this year. I got a report from one of my informants today that they are being caught on the south shore now.
How often do you think those railings will need to be repainted? Looks nice, hopefully they hire local and legal for the maintenance.
Those railings only have a coat of primer on them now. They need at least two coats of finish paint. And there are a lot of railings!!! I would think that they would have to be repainted every two years. That's an awfully exposed location.
does it stick out further into the 'channel" than it used to... will the launches still be able to squeeze by with a ferry there?
It looks to be the same length as the old wharf. And it doesn't look like it has extended any further south towards Straight Wharf. Launches will be able to navigate the area as they always have.
