After an extremely slow start this year, boats are finally starting to filter into the Boat Basin and the mooring field. I was out and about the waterfront in my boat today and grabbed a few pictures of arriving vessels.
Belle at her usual spot for the summer. She has received an extensive amount of work this year including a brand new keel-
The motor sailer, Little Vigilant, here for a visit-
The big sailboat, Arabella, moored in the mooring field-
The Argonaut was recently splashed. Captain Harvey Lynch will be running her this summer-

It's nice that the Arabella is not anchored in the middle of the channel this year.
Yeah, I don't know how they got away with that last year. Made a lot of people very very angry. Try anchoring your boat in a navigable channel and see how long it is before you are asked to pull up anchor and leave.
They anchor all the way up to 2nd bend. That's a marked channel. What's more is the owners have the balls to yell at you if you leave a wake.
