During my final check of the waterfront tonite, I spotted the Helen H out of Hyannis tied up at the gas dock at the Boat Basin. This is the first time I have seen her in here. I spoke with the captain and he told me they are on a two day fluke trip with a layover here on Nantucket. They are leaving early tomorrow morning headed for the shoals. He said on the way over here today they stopped at Tuckernuck #1 to try for fluke but did not get any as there was no real drift happening. I saw about a dozen what appeared to be commercial fishing boats down about 10 miles southwest of Tuckanut today....wonder what they're out there doing?
