22' Tripp Boat

I've always been a big fan of the 22' Tripp Boat. Years ago, they were very popular as a bay scallop boat. There were several of them in the fleet. I remember Karsten Reinemo owned one as well as Jimmy Garnett, Peter Eldridge and Henry Wasierski. Howie Whelden still fishes out of one now.

I spotted one out at Madaket Marine the other day. She used to belong to Wiggles Coffin. She has been beautifully restored by her current owner. New deck, paint, etc. Here's a picture of her. Click on the picture for a larger view-

A Trip To Tuckernuck

I took my boat over to the island of Tuckernuck today. I haven't been over there in about 25 years! Things haven't changed much out there. It's still too shallow for me.

Lone Ranger

There's a huge ship anchored in the Sound just off Coatue. She's the Lone Ranger from Hamilton, Bermuda. Here are a couple pictures of her that Captain Tobey Leske sent me today. I was unable to go out and have a closer look. Thanks, Tobey!

Last Few Days Of Summer

Summer is fading fast. We have experienced a few fall like days and nights recently. Today was probably the nicest day of the summer, though. I'd have to say it was a perfect ten. I was out and about on the waterfront in my boat and captured a few images.
