Commercial Scalloping 2014 Day Two

The 2014 Commercial Scallop Season has started. There seems to be a fair amount of scallops around this year. The problem is there is no grass. The season won't last long without any grass. Here are a few scenes I grabbed this morning while I was out scalloping-

Fall At The Waterfront

Things are really starting to slow down at the waterfront. The Boat Basin is emptying out quickly. Soon the commercial bay scallopers will be there. Family Scallop Season started last week. There are not a lot of scallops this year. There are a few in Madaket. I'm still waiting from my bureau chiefs in Town for a report from there.

Late Summer At The Waterfront

Summer is almost over. Thank God. I've had enough of the people and the horrific rudeness. I'm so looking forward to February when we can finally have our island back.
